RESPONSIBILITIES
The selected caliber will be providing Business Analysis services to Finance users across the APAC region on Regulatory reporting systems, downstream of the accounting tool. The team also handles support and enhancement for the related systems. In addition to formal regulatory tools, the team is in charge of the tools of the regional Control team (ledger sign off)
Receive requirements from any Finance user related to enhancement/development
Validate pertinence of requests, seeking best cost/benefit ratio
Analyze problem and practices
Document requirements and provide necessary background information
Prototype solution with Excel/Access tools if necessary to confirm user requirements
Design and document solution logical steps and processes
Prepare and document functional settings (mapping, netting…)
Perform SIT and follow up on issues
Coordinate end user validation and follow up on issues
Document user guide and carry out training
Communicate formally advancement and issues with stake holders and participants
Advise project manager on Finance user priorities/constraints and contribute to project planning
Prioritize tasks across various requesters/sites
Analyze problem and practices
Design and document solution logical steps and processes
Prepare and document functional settings (mappings, nettings...)
Follow up with IT on developments and deliveries
Perform SIT, maintain and follow up on list of issue raised
Coordinate end user validation, maintain and follow up on list of issue raised
Document user guide and carry out training
Communicates advancement and escalate issues to APS management
REQUIREMENTS
Professional background in Finance vertical with a good understanding of financial terms, processes, instruments and transactions
Good understanding of general banking operations and applications: Front –Middle – Back Office – Accounting – Reporting
Good understanding of accounting process – entries processing, reporting cycles and natures.
Good level of comfort with technical tools for functional investigation (excel formulas / SQL queries / BO)
Project management skills and strong interest for process reengineering
Ability to understand complex financial system architecture
Experimented in Banking Industry with a minimum of 5 years
Experimented in project participation/management
Knowledge of accounting tools (atlas 2, infocentre)
Degree holder
Other Computer skills (MS Word / Projects / PowerPoint / Access, any development language as evidence of technical comfort)
Experience with Data warehousing / Database querying / Business Intelligence
Experience with regulatory reporting as a user or as a BA
Availability for short term on-site missions
Professional experience of interaction with accounting system as an end user
