Key Areas of Responsibilities
1. Prevent safety incidents by careful evaluation of product at design stage.
2. Provide coaching to the OEM/ODM on safety and environmental regulations during the development stage and build up safety and approbation plans for each project.
3. Document relevant approbation reports and status on safety matters regularly during product development stages.
4. Investigate issues reported by regions or third party OEM and provide analysis in timely manner.
5. Build up know-how for AVM products about new safety and approbation regulations. Update know-how base for new technologies and new features. Regularly inform quality, development, CMM teams about new regulations.
Job Specifications and Skills
1. Degree in engineering science
2. Experience in external test houses, or product safety in design teams in Audio/Video industry
3. Knowledge of international Audio/Video safety standards
4. Good communication skills in English and Mandarin Chinese. Team player.
