The Job
You will
oversee the production operations to ensure system services are delivered effectively; maintain high level of system availability to meet business requirements
plan and schedule all system related jobs; ensure systems running within specified parameters; report or escalate incidents and problems to IT management
assess and report potential risks that would affect system availability and business continuity; participate in business continuity planning
ensure all operational activities are complied with stipulated policies, standards, processes and procedures; enforce discipline to maintain system / data integrity
assure appropriate change management processes are implemented; make certain system installations / upgrades are properly performed
lead and develop team mates to keep them competent with state-of-the-art technology; maintain an efficient, effective and well trained work unit
About You
You should have
tertiary education with 5 years experience in related field with at least 3 years experience in support role
solid experience in IT Service Management; System, Network and Storage Management; Data Centre Management and Vendor Management
good ITIL knowledge and experience
hands-on experience in managing large and complex system implementation
knowledge of web system management with skills in areas of performance optimization, load balancing and security
good organisational and problem solving abilities as well as good communication and interpersonal skills
a sound knowledge of project management and relevant experience will be an advantage
You will
