Network & Security Engineer, Samvo Hong Kong Limited

Job Responsibilities:

• Operational security of the corporate network in a high availability online environment


• Work closely with all business units to ensure the highest standard of security and compliance


• Perform any ad hoc I.T. duties as assigned including performance and status reports


• Provide support to our helpdesk and application support team on network and security issues


• 3rd line support of ongoing network maintenance, support and troubleshooting of all network and security issues


• Proactively advise on security implementation and operations of DLP, log audit and access control


• Work Location: Hong Kong



Qualifications:

• Higher Diploma in Computer Science or equivalent


• Cisco or Juniper (CCNA, CCNP, JNCIA-Junos, JNCIS-SEC or 3+ years experience)

Required Skills:

• 3 years working experience in network and security


• Juniper Firewalls: (SRX 1xx,2xx,6xx Series)


• Cisco Catalyst Switches 4500, 3750, 2950 etc


• Good knowledge and experience in Cisco, router, LAN, STP, VLAN


• Good knowledge of HSRP, OSPF, BGP


• Enterprising, self-driven and a well-organised FINISHER


• Highly effective in written and verbal communication across business units, time zones and cultures with the ability to drill down to the lowest technical detail of any project yet agile enough to convey all relevant information to non-technical stakeholders in English and Chinese


• The ability to work independently and as part of a team

Beneficial Skills:

• Juniper Switches: EX 2000, 3000, 4000 series


• Experience in configuring and supporting major brand Firewalls and load-balancers


• BIG IP F5 Load Balancer


• HP Tipping Point 1400 or other IDS/IPS experience


• Cymphonix Network Composer


• Good knowledge of QoS, VoIP


• Experienced in a fast paced 24x7 online gaming or financial services environment


• Familiar with PCI DSS, SOX or other regulatory compliance requirements
