System Administrator, Object Valley (Asia Pacific) Limited

• Environment setup, application deployment and installation.


• Software installation, set-up and configuration at customer location.


• Software troubleshooting and upgrade services at customer location and via telephone.


• Product support and customer care both at the customer location and via telephone.


• Provide customer training both on site and in-house when required.


• Identify, document and provide justification for practices and procedures, which need to be enhanced or revised to suit customer needs.

Requirements: 

• Diploma or higher Diploma in Computer Science or related discipline


• Good working knowledge Windows XP, Vista, 7, 2000, 2003, 2008, SQL, TCP/IP services


• Excellent working knowledge on Linux, UNIX, Solaris operating systems


• Good working knowledge of System architecture, installation and maintenance


• Experience providing technical training is an advantage


• Knowledge of IBM WebSphere or Rational products is a plus


• Able to work independently and proactively


• Job-related training will be provided regularly
